Project: HOW TO MAINTAIN CONTROL OF THE EARNINGS RATE FOR HIGH-COST TRUCKS AND TRAILERS DELIVERING LOGS AND TIMBER FOR DOMESTIC AND EXPORT CUSTOMERS IN THE CENTRAL NORTH ISLAND

Synopsis:

  • Definition of key business drivers applying to a road transport operation ($ per km, $ per driver hour, etc.)
  • Definition of key operational management measures (loaded running, percentages, dispatch timings, etc.)
  • Integration of all costs and activities into an operational model to simulate tasks and associated earnings
  • Presentation of detailed schedule of calculated rates to enable work to be tendered for competitively and promptly
  • Ongoing close involvement with maintaining and interpreting the model in light of actual operating results
  • Integration of modern GPS technology with productivity management system for the distribution of product.
