Project: DEVELOPMENT OF GENERAL MANAGER'S COMPETENCIES

Synopsis: The internal appointment of a general manager was supported by an experienced mentor. The mentor provided a sounding board for dealing with daily issues as well as an anchor to maintain focus. Key competencies developed in the General Manager included:

  • planning,
  • performance management (human resources),
  • marketing,
  • finance,
  • time management and
  • production and quality.
